Joy in Sports partners meeting was held in Estonia, Tallinn

ERASMUS + sports project “JOY in SPORTS” partners meeting was held in Estonia, Tallinn 17th-18th of September 2025 #joyinsport

WP3 leader Asuman Saltan from Yalova Ortopedikler Spor klübü gives overview about  the implementation phase.
In the implementation phase  we will pilot the sport and art-based activities to find the most effective methods in Finland, Turkey, Portugal, Poland and Estonia.
Here, the information from WP 2 is combined to form different combinational methods of art and physical exercises, providing the testing grounds for approaches such as Forum theatre and the VIP-model.
These combinations include theoretical instructions and practical parts, which will be piloted and evaluated by participants for further development.
This Coaches Educational Pack will consist of comprehensive educational materials for knowledge on inclusion and practical guides how to approach inclusion by art-based methods, combined with variable physical exercises.  Approximately 30 pilots will be finished on the end of this year and when we have collected findings from the pilots, we will be ready to combine the lessons learned into a pack.

WP 4 leader TUAS Anu Grandberg and Anna Hellsten talked about WP4 Coaches education pack), with the aim to equip sport coaches, team leaders, volunteers and youth workers in a comprehensive educational material to understand and be able to put into practice the principles of engaging youth in joyful and integrative uses of sports, further enhancing their training and education.
As part of this pack, we will provide tested protocols to prevent professional burnout amongst the coaches confronted with incidents of racism or any other forms of exclusion, bullying, labelling, amongst other forms of discrimination.
The educational pack will have an electronic form with hashtags, recommended links, wiki functions for interactive collection of best practices, comments and blogging.
A series of instructional videos will be produced as part of the WP4 outputs.

WP 5 leader EFSEI Heidi Pihlak and Liisa Roos  give overview of dissemination activities. In WP5 we will devise strategies to influence policymakers and therefore, allow the results produced in the project to be further dissemination and implemented. Dissemination activities will start right at the beginning of the project and dissemination will be a crucial part of the project to ensure that the results are used beyond the project consortium and have a lengthy longevity.

Major contributors to these will the multiplier sport events, and the deliverables and findings from WP3 and 4 to be shared, communicated and discussed with all the stakeholders identified.
